Abstract
Indonesia is one of the countries that has mega biodiversity of animals, one of which is Anuran. Despite that, the information about Anuran diversity in some area is lacking. Data of Anuran species diversity in the southern slope of Gunung Slamet was limited to Ketengger-Pancuran Pitu area and had not yet comprised Baturraden Botanical Garden area. This research aimed to study Anuran diversity in the thematic area of Baturraden Botanical Garden. This research used survey method with Visual Encounter Survey (VES) sampling techniques. The Anuran samples were collected along three tracks in the thematic areas for 3 hours in a day (08.00–11.00) and night (20.00–23.00). Total 11 species from 6 families were observed in the studied areas in Baturraden Botanical Garden. The families of Anuran were Bufonidae, Dicroglossidae, Microhylidae, Megophryidae, Ranidae, and Rhacophoridae.
