Author Guidelines

Oral Presentation Guideline

An oral presentation, overall, is a 15 minutes talk using Power Point Presentation to visualize the ideas. The following are the guidelines.

  • An oral presentation is allocated for 12 minutes talk, 3 minutes question and answer
  • It is recommended for a presenter to provide approximately 10-12 slides
  • A visual check for presentation file will be made available for the presenters during the conference registration or before the presentation session
  • The chair person will strictly enforce the 15-minutes time limit

Quickfire Presentation Guideline

A quickfire presentation is a one-minute talk introducing research presented in a poster to gain audience interest. Later, during the poster presentation, the interested audiences will come to discuss with the presenter.  A presenter should understand the following format to succeed.

  • Self-introduction that might cover presenter name, affiliation, and the poster title starts the talk.
  • A presenter should select and clearly deliver the key messages, which might include research question and its novelty, to the audiences.
  • A presenter is recommended to present one slide during a quickfire talk.
  • A presenter should manage one minute allocated time but does not rush; thus rehearsal is highly suggested.
  • End the talk on time

Poster Presentation Guideline

A poster presenter does not necessarily provide a print out. We will arrange a digital display to view the presented posters. The following are required for the poster.

  • The poster size is A0 (841 mm width and 1189 mm height)
  • The poster should be in a one-page PDF file
  • The PDF file might be embedded with any rich media such as video, animation, and picture slideshow
  • The poster should cover title, affiliation, research question, approach, findings, and conclusion.
  • A presenter will deliver a quickfire talk before poster presentation (please refer to the schedule)
  • A presenter should stand by their poster display as scheduled to serve the interested audiences
